Grosseto lies inside its lovely 15th Century city walls, low but thick, surrounded by lush trees, a similar scenario to the city of Lucca, with its towers, the beautiful palm trees like they have in Rome, the pine trees, the cypresses, stands like a centerpiece on the greenest tablecloth made up by the maremma valley.
